In her words
I know what it feels like to be accomplished on the outside and struggling on the inside.
I am a U.S. Army combat veteran, executive leader, entrepreneur, mother, and lifelong student of human resilience. Throughout my career, I have worked inside healthcare, government, the Department of Veterans Affairs, veteran services, and corporate leadership. I have led statewide growth strategies, high-performing teams, multimillion-dollar healthcare initiatives, and programs designed to improve access and outcomes for veterans and underserved communities.
But knowing how to perform is not always the same as knowing how to heal.
Behind the résumé was a very human story.
I have lived with chronic pain, PTSD, suicidal ideation, trauma, and prolonged stress. I know what it feels like when the body remains on alert even when your mind is desperately trying to move forward.
And through my work with veterans, healthcare systems, and communities, I saw versions of that struggle everywhere. These were not people who lacked strength. Many had survived extraordinary things. What was often missing was an understanding of what was happening inside their own bodies, and practical ways to participate in changing it.
That realization changed the direction of my life.

Where it began
How do we help people move from surviving their lives to actively participating in their own well-being?
My professional background gave me experience in healthcare systems, government programs, leadership, strategy, human performance, and veteran advocacy. My personal journey led me deeper into holistic and complementary health, neuroscience, neuroplasticity, meditation, emotional regulation, yoga, acupressure, mindfulness, sound, movement, nature, and the relationship between the brain and body.
I became a holistic coach, yoga instructor and Reiki Master, trained in the NADA protocol, and continued my graduate study and research into human resilience, contemplative well-being, and nervous-system regulation.
The more I learned, the more I began connecting ideas that had often existed in separate worlds.
Practices I once considered unconventional became part of my own medicine. A way to pause long enough to reconnect with myself.

How the wand began
What if some of these practices could become easier to understand, easier to access, and easier to bring into everyday life?
That question became the Reset Wand, the first precision portable AI powered wellness multi-tool, created to make self-regulation practices more accessible and intentional. It brings together elements inspired by acupressure, auricular wellness practices, sensory stimulation, mindfulness, and sound within one portable tool.
But for me, the Reset Wand has never been only about creating a device. It is about creating a bridge.
From sketch to prototype
Before there was a wand, there was a notebook.

Pencil sketches of one tool that could massage and place ear seeds.
The sketches became a precise 3D design, with a grip that tapers gently to sit in the hand.
Interchangeable copper ball heads, designed in three sizes, screw onto the wand.
The tip holds a tiny magnet, so each copper-coated seed lifts from the tray and lands on the exact spot the app maps out.
The wand, spare heads and ear seeds, together in one portable case.
The bigger mission
We learn how to exercise our muscles. We learn about nutrition. We monitor our heart health. But most of us were never taught what happens inside our bodies when we experience chronic stress, fear, uncertainty, or emotional overload, and we were rarely taught what we can do in those moments.
That is the movement behind the Reset Wand. Your history matters, but it does not have to become your destiny. Our stress responses, emotional patterns and behaviors can become deeply conditioned. At the same time, human beings have an extraordinary capacity to learn, adapt, create new routines, and respond differently.
The goal isn’t to eliminate stress. Life is going to happen. The goal is to build practices that help us meet life differently.
This mission is deeply personal
Literally and figuratively. And a woman who has had to rediscover herself and her purpose more than once.
Today
Founder and CEO.
Founder of the veteran suicide-prevention nonprofit.
Inventor.
Different organizations. Different approaches. One underlying mission: helping people move from survival toward connection, purpose, and regulation.
My past roles reflect my professional background. The Department of Veterans Affairs and the other organizations I have worked with are not affiliated with and do not endorse Reset Wand.
Your hardest chapter does not have to become the final definition of your life.

Where change starts
That is why I created the Reset Wand. Not to promise that life will never be difficult, but to give people another tool to pause, reconnect, become curious about their bodies, and intentionally practice returning to themselves.
I don’t share my story because I want you to be impressed by what I survived. I share it because I want you to question what may still be possible for you.
You are not simply here to survive your life. You are here to live it.
